Santé du colon

 

La santé du côlon dépend de plusieurs facteurs. Plusieurs études nous indiquent qu’on doit y prêter une attention particulière. Voici les principaux comportements à adopter pour favoriser la santé du côlon. Toutes ces pratiques ont démontré leur efficacité confirmée par des études épidémiologiques.
1.       Consommer chaque jour 30 g de fibres alimentaires : on les trouve dans les fruits, légumes, céréales entières et légumineuses. Les fibres captent des substances toxiques présentes dans l’intestin et les évacuent.
2.       Adopter une alimentation de plus en plus végétarienne.
3.       Cultiver sa flore intestinale ; consommer des aliments probiotiques, des bactéries favorables à l’intestin.
4.       Éviter la viande rouge : bœuf, porc, agneau, etc.
5.       Éviter les gras saturés : gras animal, gras cuit, fritures (gras trans) et gras hydrogénés.
6.       Éviter la suralimentation et une trop forte consommation de protéines.
7.       Éviter la charcuterie contenant des nitrites.
8.       Assurer sa régularité intestinale, déféquer deux fois par jour.
9.       Éviter les laxatifs et purgatifs irritants, qui endommagent la muqueuse du côlon.
10.   Prendre des graines mucilagineuses : graine de lin, etc.
11.   Faire régulièrement de l’activité physique.
12.   S’exposer régulièrement au soleil.
13.   Éviter l’alcool et le tabac, deux substances qui irritent plusieurs tissus de l’organisme et notamment la paroi interne du côlon.


Une alimentation saine et riche en fibres, de l’exercice régulier et une saine attitude psychologique – calme, confiance et patience – assurent un transit régulier et sans effort.
Forcer les intestins à évacuer à l’aide de laxatifs ou de purgatifs les irrite et réduit leur efficacité. L’évacuation forcée est souvent suivie par une rétention accrue.
      Au besoin, laisser agir la diarrhée, car alors le corps élimine et rejette au dehors les toxines et produits décomposés qui encombrent le tube digestif.
      Plusieurs repas par jour, composés surtout d’aliments crus assurent plusieurs selles quotidiennes faciles.
